Roie Galitz has spent over two decades exploring the world and documenting some of the planet’s most incredible wildlife. A renowned photographer, his work is recognized worldwide and he has received over 70 awards, including the prestigious Picture of the Year for reportage of Science and Natural History.
Wildlife photography pushes me beyond my limits, taking me to places I would have never been and enabling me to experience things I could never imagine.
I was first introduced to Nikon by my employer at the time, who was shooting on a Nikon D100. I was so impressed with his DSLR that I knew there was no going back to a compact camera, so I invested in my own kit, starting with the D70. Since then I have had a long list of Nikon cameras, everything from the D200 to the Z 7 ii and now the epic Z 9. I need kit I can rely on, and the performance of Nikon cameras and lenses never fail to amaze me.
